- 谁能参与：乡村探险记是付费学生的课堂内容。没有开通的同学可以读这一页的介绍，但不能写回合。
- 每次一个问题：先选「你想和谁说话」，再写「你的化身接下来做什么」。选错了人可以返回换。一次最多写 1200 字。
- 每天有次数上限：一个人一天能写的回合数有上限（目前是 8 次），用完了就等明天。被退回、没有存进故事的回合不算在这 8 次里。只看次数，不看谁写得多就更厉害。
- 和文老（Kenneth）说话要用英语，而且需要英语课会员。没开通时，他的名字旁边会写「需英语课」，这个选项点不了。和其他人物说话用中文就行。
- 不写联系方式：微信号、手机号、QQ、邮箱、住址都不能写进故事，任何一格（动作、台词、装束、结伴、道具）都不行。写了的话，这一步会被退回，不会存进故事，你会看到原因。
- 不写真人的真事：故事里的人都是故事里的人。不要把你家里、学校里真实的人和事写进来，不要写同学的真名。故事里出现的孩子，大家都先护住他的名字。
- 大家看到的只是化身的名字：「今天大家做了什么」只印化身名和扮演的人物，不印你的账号名。
- 不合适的内容会被收起：每一段写进来的文字都会过一遍安全检查。工作人员可以把某一段「收起」，收起只是不给大家看，不会删掉你写的东西。
- 你的化身只学性格和语气：系统会读你最近写的东西，让化身说话更像你教的那个角色；它不会记住你写过的家里、学校、身体或住处的事。
- 撑不住的时候：如果你写的东西让系统判断你现在很难受，页面会先给你一个更简单、更安静的入口，而不是继续推剧情。每天开头你也可以点「今天温和一点」。
- Who can take part: Village Expedition is class content for paying students. Anyone can read this introduction, but only enrolled students can write turns.
- One question at a time: first choose “Who would you like to talk to?”, then write “What will your avatar do next?”. You can go back and change the person. Up to 1,200 characters per turn.
- Daily turn limit: each student has a fixed number of turns per day (currently 8). When they are used up, come back tomorrow. A turn that is sent back and not saved into the story does not count toward the 8.
- Talking to Kenneth (文老) is in English and needs an English class membership. Without it, his name shows “(needs English membership)” and cannot be chosen. Everyone else can be spoken to in Chinese.
- No contact details: no WeChat ID, phone number, QQ, email or address anywhere in a turn, in any box (action, speech, clothes, companions, item). A turn that contains one is sent back with the reason and is not saved into the story.
- No real people’s real lives: the people in the story are story people. Do not write real people or events from your home or school into it, and never a classmate’s real name. When a child appears in the story, everyone protects that child’s name first.
- Only avatar names are shown: “What everyone did today” prints the avatar’s name and the character played, never your account name.
- Unsuitable writing gets hidden: every piece of writing passes a safety check. Staff can hide a passage; hiding only removes it from view and never deletes what you wrote.
- Your avatar learns traits and tone only: the system reads your recent writing so the avatar sounds more like the character you taught it. It never keeps what you wrote about your home, school, body or where you live.
- When things are heavy: if what you write tells the system you are having a hard time, the page offers a simpler, quieter entrance instead of pushing the plot. At the start of each day you can also press “Gentler today”.
乡村探险记是一个大家一起往前写的长故事。故事发生在山水学堂周围的村子、河湾和山路上，每天推进一段。你不是坐在台下看故事的人——你可以选一个故事里的人物跟他说话，告诉大家你的化身接下来做什么、说什么。
白天，同学们在这里写下自己的这一步；每个人写的内容会出现在「今天大家做了什么」里，大家互相看得见。夜里，系统把当天所有人的这一步编织进第二天的新章节。第二天你打开页面，会在故事里读到大家昨天做过的事带来的结果。没人写的日子，故事也会接着往下走，不会停住等你。
如果你已经有了自己的化身，探险队会邀请它同行。你自己决定加不加入，也自己决定别的同学能不能在故事里看到它。加入以后，它按你教给它的性格自己行动——你不能指挥它，你在这里读它做了什么、说了什么。
水牛队、山羊队开启时，两个队各走各的一条路线：同一天会有两段不同的探险，你读到和参与的是自己队伍那一段，更早的共同章节两队都能读。
教室只在上课时间开门；不在上课时间，这个页面上的介绍和规则照样可以读。
/Village Expedition is one long story that everyone writes forward together. It takes place in the villages, river bends and mountain paths around inMountains School, and it moves one step each day. You are not sitting in the audience: you pick a person in the story to talk to, and you write what your avatar does or says next.
During the day, students write their step here. Everyone’s step shows up under “What everyone did today”, so you can read each other. At night, the system weaves all of the day’s steps into the next chapter. Open the page the next day and you will read what came of what people did. On days when nobody writes, the story still moves on. It does not wait.
If you already have an avatar, the expedition invites it along. You decide whether it joins, and you decide whether other students may see it in the story. Once it joins, it acts on its own from the character you taught it. You do not steer it; you read what it did and said.
When the Buffalo and Goat teams are switched on, each team travels its own route: there are two different adventures on the same day, and you read and join your own team’s one. Earlier shared chapters stay readable for both teams.

- 打开页面。先读今天的章节。页面顶部有三个按钮：「沿着我的梦继续」「今天温和一点」「给我一个惊喜」。你点了「沿着我的梦继续」，系统记下今天你想要的方向，明天的章节会参考它。
- 选人物。「你想和谁说话？」下面一次最多列三个人，点「更多角色」翻页。你上次选过的人会排在第一页。这次你选了河湾边捡到漂流瓶的那个人。
- 写这一步。在「你的化身接下来做什么？」里写：
「我先不把瓶子里的信给别人看。我跟着她走到河湾，问她：信是从上游漂下来的吗？我们能不能先回一封信，不写名字？」
你还可以展开「装束、结伴、动作台词」：行囊道具写「竹茶筒」，结伴写「想和水秀一起走」。 - 提交以后。系统先检查有没有联系方式和不合适的内容；没问题就存进故事。你会马上收到这个人物的一句回应，同时这一段出现在「今天大家做了什么」里，署名是你的化身名，后面写着「（扮演 ……）」。页面会告诉你今天还剩几次。
- 如果你写了「加我微信 abc123456」：这一步会被退回，告诉你故事里不能留联系方式，不会存进故事。删掉那句再交就行。
- 第二天。夜里系统把所有人的这一步编进新章节。你打开页面，会读到「先回一封不写名字的信」这条路被故事接住之后发生了什么——也可能别的同学选了另一条路，故事会把两条都考虑进去。
Here is one full round of taking part (the people and plot are only there to show the steps):
- Open the page. Read today’s chapter first. At the top are three buttons: “Continue my dream”, “Gentler today” and “Surprise me”. You press “Continue my dream”; the system notes the direction you want, and tomorrow’s chapter takes it into account.
- Choose a person. Under “Who would you like to talk to?” at most three people are listed at a time; “More” turns the page. The person you chose last time is on page one. This time you choose the one who found a bottle at the river bend.
- Write your step. In “What will your avatar do next?” you write:
“I will not show the letter in the bottle to anyone yet. I walk with her to the river bend and ask: did it float down from upstream? Could we write back first, without any names?”
You can also open “Clothes, companions, action and speech”: item “bamboo tea flask”, companion “walk with Shuixiu”. - After you submit. The system checks for contact details and unsuitable content, then saves the turn into the story. You get one line back from that person straight away, and your step appears under “What everyone did today”, signed with your avatar’s name and “(playing …)”. The page tells you how many turns you have left today.
- If you had written “add me on WeChat abc123456”: the turn is sent back with the reason that contact details cannot go into the story, and nothing is saved, so it does not count toward your 8 turns today. Remove that line and submit again.
- The next day. Overnight, everyone’s steps are woven into a new chapter. You open the page and read what happened once the story picked up “write back first, without names”. Other students may have chosen a different path; the chapter takes both into account.
